Baby Card Ideas: Easy diaper cards!

Homemade baby card ideas for people in a rush!
This simple cloth-diaper design is super cute, and really easy to make.
All you need is a scrap of fabric to make a mini cloth-diaper, and some card or pretty paper to glue your diaper on to.
Baby Card Ideas - Diaper Card
Materials
For making this card you will need:
- card stock
- other coloured card
- small triangle of material (I have used some scrap fleece)
- needle and thread
- paper glue
- fabric glue
- ribbon or other embellishment for your diaper
- Optional: "Congratulations" stamp (I bought mine on Ebay for just a few dollars)
Step 1

Firstly, glue on layers of decorative paper to frame the cloth diaper you will make.
I have chosen to use a blue card stock base for the card, and layered on some white card followed by blue checkered paper.

Step 2
Fold the cloth diaper to stick on the front of your card.

Fold the triangle piece of fabric to resemble a diaper, as shown in the pictures above.
Put a small stitch through the layers of fabric so that the diaper will keep its shape.
Glue or sew on an embellishment of some kind. Here I have tied a bow from thin blue ribbon, but you could also use jewels, sequins, or a mini safety-pin. What ever you have in your craft box :-)
Step 3
Assemble your cute diaper card!
Use a good quality craft glue to glue the back of the cloth diaper onto the front of your card.
(You can pop your card under a heavy book until the glue sets if you like).

Stamp or write your message of Congratulations on the front, and your card is ready!

Handmade new baby card idea
Hi everyone Sylvia here with a few new baby cards. I went down the traditional route using blue for a boy and pink for a girl but yellows, greens or lilacs would work just as well.
To make the cards I used:
This baby boy card has one of my favourite sentiments for using on handmade new baby cards, either on the front or on the insert. I added the machine sewing round the image before layering onto the blue card, the ribbon was fastened to a larger white square and the image glued over it, finally it was attached to a papermilldirect card blank.
This cute image is from Pink Petticoat and can be found at The Lovely Studio, where Pink Petticoat images and sentiments are being added to the portfoilio all the time by Liz. If you were a Pink Petticoat fan it's worth a visit.
I love buff and blue together and for this card I used the faux parchment effect with the cute teddy stamped image.
Do you keep a stock of cards to hand or do you make cards as you need them? Let us know and don't forget to show us your recent makes, we love to see what you are making with papermilldirect card and craft supplies from the shop.

Baby Card Ideas
Create cute baby card ideas for girls or boys with adorable pattern paper. You can just about embellish your baby card using stickers, brads and trim with pastel or bright colors.

This is a really easy baby card to make. Just find a paper pattern you like and choose a coordinating color from the pattern paper to compliment the card. Next, find a sticker with the same coordinating colors or use your favorite baby stamp and color it the way you would like.
This baby card can also be used to make boy card. Just switch out the colors from pink to whatever color you like.
Pick die-cut shapes like planes, trains, cars, teddy bears or rocking horses, just to name a few examples. Trending shapes are unicorns or circus themes so just keep a look out for what's trendy.
Handmade baby cards are fun to make because there are pretty prints to use. I used a print from a paper pack, Diecuts with a View Nana's Nursery. Pink is always a popular color for baby girl cards so you'll almost always find it in a paper stack pad for baby girls.
For this card making project, I didn't want to use a colorful print because I wanted to use a chipboard sticker of a baby dress. I chose a cream and pink print and coordinated it with solid cream and solid pink paper.
I used Fiskars' Embossing Border Eyelet Lace Punch along the bottom on this baby shower card idea. It creates a lacey look without having to use real, bulky lace.
When making handmade cards, use rub-on letters, sticker, or stamps for your sentiment, I used rub-on letters that said "sweet baby" for this handmade baby greeting card. You can also use stick-on letters or use your computer to type out the sentiment.
Finally, I added a pink brad to balance out the dress chipboard sticker. For your baby card ideas, you can add a very small shaped sticker if you don't have brads to use.
This homemade card idea is a great design for making baby shower greeting cards or change out the colors for a boy baby card.

Here's another baby card for a girl. The dress is from the same box of chipboard stickers as the pink card above. The flower over the ribbon also came from the box of chipboard stickers.

For this baby card, I coordinated stripes and polka dot and trimmed it with satin and a narrow gingham pink ribbon. The baby sticker is the focal point of the card.

This baby card has green and blue colors. The sentiment is a sticker and I used foam tape to make it three dimensional. It's a real simple and fast card to make.

Tomorrow you will appear at the headquarters of the detachment, receive a plan of training, which you must go through before enlisting in the service. And from that day on, you can even wear a jacket with a portrait of the Father of Nations at school. With what envy the girls of the classmate looked at Tanya when she appeared at the lesson in a uniform jacket with a portrait on her sleeve.
Many would like to get there, but not all in health and shape came out.

And strengthens the immune system. A little about immunity. My grandmother told me that during the war, vaginal moisture helped them out in the rear at logging sites, when there were no antiseptics, iodine and other dressings.
I hit my finger, quickly into the vagina and the finger healed like on a dog.
