Eve abyssal frigate fits

Eve abyssal frigate fits DEFAULT

Header art by Empanada

The launch of Into the Abyss and the emergence of Abyssal Deadspace is upon us, and before the deluge of losses hit in earnest those of us here at the writing INN team thought we&#;d share some useful fits that players can use to test these new sites. Indeed, we&#;ve been testing these sites in Singularity since they became available.

Please be aware that these are suggested baseline fits, and each is accompanied by a description from the creator of the fitting. These fits can be improved upon, and you absolutely should make these your own. Just be aware that we will laugh and point when you die in something blingy, as will everyone else.

Abyssal sites are mean to players; they actually take effort.

The following authors give their recommendations for fits and strategies for successful running of Abyssal Deadspace sites.

Canis Fangborn, Abyss Caracal

Abyss Caracal

Running Tier-1 Dark sites requires a Calm Dark Filament.

Your skill level will very much dictate how easy this particular abyss is to complete. That might sound like a trite observation, but it really isn’t. You have twenty minutes to get out or you die. The higher your skill level, the more damage you can lay down and therefore the better chance you have of surviving.

The fit I found easiest to use was this one:

[Caracal Navy Issue, Calm Dark] Damage Control II
Ballistic Control System II
Ballistic Control System II
Ballistic Control System II
&#;
50MN Cold-Gas Enduring Microwarpdrive
X5 Enduring Stasis Webifier

Adaptive Invulnerability Field II

&#;

Rapid Light Missile Launcher II

Rapid Light Missile Launcher II
&#;
Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II
Medium Core Defense Field Extender II
Medium Core Defense Field Extender II
&#;
Mjolnir Precision Light Missile x
Mjolnir Fury Light Missile x

Use Precision on all the small stuff and Fury on the big. Try and curve in on the battleship, web it and orbit at around 7,m. Because of the speed bonus you won’t need to run your MWD once you are there, but you want to get there as fast as you can to avoid taking damage. Once you are close, the battleship literally won’t be able to hit you. Web it, go through the reloads, and it will run as smooth as silk.

Be ultra-careful not to stray far in the rooms. Once you start taking damage from the environment, you do not have a huge amount of time to sort yourself out. This fit will have you comfortably clear all three rooms and leave with your loot, with around five minutes to spare, however do not be tempted to think that this will therefore work in a Tier 2 Dark. It won’t.

If you don’t have the skills for T2 missile launchers, then you can use Prototype &#;Arbalest&#; Rapid Light Missile Launchers with Caldari Navy Mjolnir Light Missiles (grab at least for your hold).

This is still comfortably doable, but don’t tarry for the view.
You can do this level in a standard Caracal. Either fit works (with one less launcher), but you need to be on top of what you are doing, simply because you can’t lay as much damage down. That one extra launcher on the Caracal Navy Issue makes a significant difference that isn’t in any way matched by the drones you can use with the standard Caracal.

Falaharn Mistwarden, Abyss Gila

We&#;ve been testing the different sites and levels, finding out how they work and what&#;s the best ship(s) to take. Over the course of testing, elements within the abyss changed and we were introduced to new NPCs and more advanced AI behavior and tactics.

I chose the Gila, as it’s a popular ship for PVE play. Most players including myself have been using it for the event sites since the events started at the turn of the year. As such will have plenty of skills and experience with the ship. The Gila is a classic PVE ship due to access to missiles and drones; her bonuses are suited for dealing kinetic and thermal damage. This means we will be using the Gila in Exotic Particle Storm and Plasma Firestorm sites.

I find this fit works great as an “entry level” fitting for Tier sites.

[Gila, Exotic Firestorm] Damage Control II
Drone Damage Amplifier II

Medium Core Defense Field Purger II
&#;
Hammerhead II x5
Vespa II x5
&#;
Inferno Precision Light Missile x
Scourge Fury Light Missile x
Inferno Fury Light Missile x
Scourge Precision Light Missile x

For damage types you&#;ll want to use thermal for Plasma Firestorm and kinetic for Exotic Particle. You should also pack both Fury and Precision ammo for your damage type as well as ten drones for your damage type as well. This will allow you to deal the most amount of damage possible.

[Editor&#;s Note: I&#;ve actually been using this fit, even though my missile skills aren&#;t great, and there are no MCDFP IIs in Delve. Even with T1 rigs, it handles Tier Exotic and Firestorm sites like a champ, and when I went ahead and fitted it out like it was mine (ie: 2b+ between fitting and pod) even using T1 launchers w/faction ammo, it was able to clear everything up to Tier 5 for those two damage profiles. -Arrendis]

Mischa Gau&#;ss Tesla, Abyss Ishtar

I am still an Ishtar fan, as it&#;s pretty much the ideal ship for everything except Dark from level 1-to I haven&#;t tried running level 5 sites in this, but a good Abyssal fit if you don&#;t want to risk the cost trade-off from injecting is:

[Ishtar, abysstar_poor] Assault Damage Control II
Armor Explosive Hardener II
Reactive Armor Hardener
Medium Armor Repairer II
Medium Armor Repairer II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
&#;
10MN Afterburner II
Omnidirectional Tracking Link II
Omnidirectional Tracking Link II
Large Cap Battery II
&#;
Drone Link Augmentor II
mm Howitzer Artillery II
mm Howitzer Artillery II
mm Howitzer Artillery II
&#;
Medium Auxiliary Nano Pump II
Medium Nanobot Accelerator II
&#;
Optimal Range Script x2
Tracking Speed Script x2
&#;
Drones:
10 heavies
10 meds
5 lights

Use heavies for cruisers and above, mediums for frigates, lights if you have trouble hitting. No scripts in the omnis unless you have trouble hitting. Not cap stable, though, so manage the reps.

It&#;s important to bring the right type of damage to a site, so make sure your drones follow this schema:

  • Electrical = Amarr Drones (EM)
  • Firestorm = Gallente Drones (Thermal)
  • Gamma = Minmatar Drones (Explosive)
  • Exotic = Caldari Drones (Kinetic)

I use Quake for destroying the can while killing the last enemies, and additional damage against close-orbiting frigates and cruisers. IMHO, level 3 is the minimum to get any payout of worth (but I&#;m used to carrier ticks as minimal income).

Jurius Doctor, Abyss Sacrilege

In the last 24 hours the price of every Heavy Assault Cruiser has climbed over Million ISK in price. I do not expect that to slow down before mid-June. Congratulations, industrialists and traders, you just made bank. Fleet and skirmish commanders, you have my condolences.

I&#;m afraid I&#;m not going to be helping matters when it comes to the availability of HACs, as they really are the best suited to running these new sites. However, at an average of to Million ISK, they&#;re not exactly super-available to newbros or those who don&#;t enjoy the same earning potential as those living in large alliances. New players will likely find them positively unattainable. Even the marginally less-expensive Stratios is likely to see a stratospheric climb in price.

Again, this is another way I won&#;t be helping things. My fit’s a bit more expensive, sitting at about M ISK. This fit is suitable for Levels , and you should be able to clear most Abyssal sites of these difficulties in well under 15 minutes. (Aim for minutes per room.)

The below fit gets north of DPS with Fury Heavy Missiles and Tech-2 medium drones. DPS drops to about total when using Precision Heavy Missiles.

[Sacrilege, Abyssal Sacrifice] Assault Damage Control II
Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
Corelum C-Type Medium Armor Repairer
C3-X &#;Hivaa Saitsuo&#; Ballistic Control System
C3-X &#;Hivaa Saitsuo&#; Ballistic Control System
&#;

Sensor Booster II, Scan Resolution Script
&#;
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Mjolnir Precision Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Mjolnir Precision Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Mjolnir Precision Heavy Missile

Warrior II x5
&#;
Scourge Fury Heavy Missile x
Nova Precision Heavy Missile x
Nova Fury Heavy Missile x
Mjolnir Fury Heavy Missile x
Inferno Fury Heavy Missile x
Scourge Precision Heavy Missile x
Inferno Precision Heavy Missile x
Mjolnir Precision Heavy Missile x

The Sacrilege is a beast when it comes to dishing out damage at range and engaging anything up close. It can run cap stable with a Corelum C-Type &#; or for 10 minutes with a Centum A-Type &#; medium armor repairer running, which is plenty. The Assault Damage Control is great for when you get swarmed by rogue drones, or if you encounter the off-type Demaviks and Vedmaks which deal lower amounts of omni-damage but are often accompanied by drones.

Heavy missiles give you + DPS (from missiles alone) out to ranges around 70km unscripted; so you can hit almost everything in the site, and fitting a SeBo and a Web let you quickly lock and deal with smaller, faster rats. The Sacrilege also has sufficient drone bay space to field a flight of medium and two flights of light drones (pushing DPS up to north of ).

These will let you handle most drone threats and anything fast enough to stay ahead of your missiles. The addition of a Missile Guidance Computer and Precision Script helps with application.

The use of the Guristas C3-X &#;Hivaa Saitsuo&#; Ballistic Control Systems is measured, as they provide a bonus to both missile and drone damage, but you can just as easily pick between DDAs or BCUs. Against some rats you&#;ll find your drones are more effective, against others missiles deal more damage. The biggest pain is just the reload time.

Note: This is important to discover as you work your way through Abyssal Deadspace (AD) sites: Not all rats in a site need to die in order for you to advance to the next room. Don&#;t waste precious time hammering drones or rats in the Abyss that you can just as easily skate past and get out. Also, always destroy the research facility, they drop loot. The towers are a distraction, don&#;t waste time killing them.

This is not a beginner fit, and it requires a lot of cap management to fly well. Fly it at your own risk.

Dirk Stetille, Vagabond

This Vagabond fit isn&#;t something I can lay sole claim to, and I must also state that this is still semi-experimental. The backstory here is that I spent a good chunk of time in abyssal space on SiSi &#; I tried Ishtars, Gilas, an Eagle, even a Vigilant or two. Nothing I tried was anything I really liked, though they were effective in the sites I was trying (Tiers ). Then, on the eve of release for Into The Abyss, I was sat on mumble chatting with a couple of people about it, and Sothrasil suggested we look at a Vagabond. So we did.

Our initial theorycrafting session lasted probably an hour, as we bounced different ideas back and forth. We settled in on an afterburning mm autocannon fit to begin with, importing it from Jita that very night. I was the first to try it out on the live server (seriously CCP, faction and deadspace mods seeded on SiSi when?!), and after half a dozen sites I was timed out by a triple Leshak spawn and some bad piloting. But, this gave us some info on how it had worked, and so we switched it up slightly by moving to an MWD fit and swapping an Invuln for the Stasis web.

We then had a different issue &#; Sothrasil timed out trying to track an &#;Aegis&#; Sleeper frigate, and we couldn&#;t figure out what had gone wrong. At this point I left Soth to it for the evening, and he changed up the guns on the fit, moving to the mm T2 autocannons and adding a tracking enhancer. Importing another setup overnight, the current fit is working so far, and has successfully cleared Tier 3 sites as of May

A couple of notes on the fit. Firstly, this is built with almost max-skills in mind, and it is only going to become more expensive as Jurius noted. If you&#;re a newer player, you may wish to try some of the less expensive fits in this article. Secondly, set your XLASB auto-repeat off by right clicking the module when in space and selecting. This will ensure you don&#;t over-tank. On the topic of over-tanking, this fit reps roughly 56% of its raw shield HP every ASB cycle, so bear that in mind whenever you pulse your ASB. Thirdly, drugs. My suggestions here are the Agency &#;Pyrolancea&#; DB5 Dose II, which provides a 5% damage bonus with no penalties, as well as Standard Blue Pill, for an extra 25% repping power. This means that with Blue Pill alone, you will rep 67% of your shields per cycle, which IMO is already starting to be crazy.

But, if that&#;s not enough, I&#;ll talk briefly about implants. My personal recommendation is to start off with a set of 3% hardwirings for turrets &#; the MR for tracking, and the MP and SS for additional damage &#; as well as a NR for the drugs, which is a set that will set you back roughly million isk. Then, once you&#;re comfortable and start to push into the higher tiers, you can be really extravagant and go for a mid-grade Crystal set. This is an expensive investment at around a billion ISK, so make sure you&#;re ready for the potential loss. This addition along with your Blue Pill will push rep cycles to a shocking 95% of your total shield HP. If that isn&#;t mind-boggling, I don&#;t really know what is.

Closing Thoughts

In the end, remember to bring the right damage loadout for the site you&#;re diving into, and keep an eye on the clock. Until you get a good handle on what kind of devastation you can put out on each of the different NPCs, it&#;s probably best to fly as inexpensively as possible. We hope these sample fits help people to get started in Abyssal Deadspace, and inspire others to come up with builds of their own. If you have any fits you&#;ve found to be effective, or stories of harrowing escapades in the depths of the Abyss, drop them in the comments below!

ISK-Making for Newbros: Abyssal Deadspace

Preface: What is Abyssal Deadspace?

Abyssal Deadspace &#; also called &#;the Abyss&#; &#; is &#;an area of isolated space&#; only accessible through special keys, called Filaments. These filaments open a special area called a &#;pocket&#; containing enemies and a great deal of loot. However, there is a time limit on these pockets. When you enter a pocket, you have a maximum of 20 minutes to complete them. Otherwise, you will lose your ship and capsule.

Hence, I offer two bits of advice right off the bat. Firstly, don&#;t fly what you can&#;t afford to lose/replace, and secondly, consider your ship and pod lost the moment you enter the Abyss, just in case you don&#;t make it out.

The Abyss has many different kinds of filaments, ranging from &#;Tranquil&#; (Tier 0) to &#;Cataclysmic&#; (Tier 6) in difficulty, and ranging in the environmental effects your ship will suffer from while in the pocket.

This guide will focus on the Tranquil difficulty and the &#;Electrical&#; weather type, and the ship used will be a Punisher-class frigate, a relatively easy ship for a newbro to fly, both Isk-wise and skills-wise.

I: My Punisher Fit and the Skills Used

The fit used can be found at the link here.

However, this fit is rather skill-intensive, benefitting from a wide range of skills that improve various aspects of its performance.

To this end, I advise claiming the 1 million free Skill Points to use this ship. Kshal Aideron has made an excellent post previously showing you how to claim these Skill Points. The skills are here in this provided list.

II: How to enter the Abyss

Firstly, you&#;ll need three Tranquil Electrical Filaments. These currently cost about K Isk per filament at Jita prices (subject to periodic change). Remember to put them in your cargo-hold before you undock.

Secondly, you&#;re going to need to be &#; strangely &#; in a fleet containing only yourself. To do this, right-click on your ship in space, go to the Pilot sub-menu and click &#;Form Fleet With&#;&#;.

Then, you&#;ll need to find a safe spot to use the filaments. To activate a filament, you need to be more than km away from a Gate, Station or Mobile Depot, and more than km away from any other Abyssal gateway.

The moment you use the filaments, an Abyssal Trace will appear in space. Click on this, press the &#;Jump&#; (or similar) button, and click &#;Enter&#;. You will then be taken into an Abyssal pocket.

A Punisher-class Frigate entering an Abyssal Deadspace pocket.

III: How to use the ship in the Abyss

When you enter the pocket, you will enter a space with enemies.

I&#;ve created individual strategies based on each enemy type that you&#;ll face in a pocket.

Since the filament type is Electrical, your capacitor recharge rate is doubled. This means you&#;ll be cap-stable assuming you are fit and skilled correctly. Run both Armor Repairers and the Afterburner at all times, there&#;s no reason not to :]

The &#;can&#; I&#;ll make reference to in the below tips is the large canister floating in space called a &#;Triglavian Biocombinative Cache&#;. You can destroy this cache and loot it.

IV: Strategies:

Ephialtes Lancer (Cruiser-sized Sleeper ship) &#; Orbit the target at 5,m and use the Multispectrum crystals in your guns.
Attacker Pacifier Disparu Troop (Frigate-sized CONCORD ship) &#; Same as the Lancer.
Skybreaker Disparu Troop (Frigate-sized EDENCOM ship) &#; Same as the Lancer. [Note: This enemy has a + DPS shield tank, the highest regeneration of all enemies in Tranquil Abyssal content.]
Lucid Escort/Aegis (Frigate-sized Sleeper ships) &#; Same as the Lancer.

Devoted Hunter (Frigate-sized Sansha ship) &#; Orbit the target at 25km and use the Radio crystals in your guns.

Tessella Drones (Frigate-sized Rogue Drone ships) &#; Orbit the canister at 5,m and use the Multispectrum crystals in your guns.
Striking (Vila) Damavik (Frigate-sized Triglavian ships) &#; Same as the Tessella Drones.
[Note &#; The Striking Vila Damavik launches drones at your ship. These drones do not need to be killed in order to enter the next room. I advise simply focusing on the ship itself.]

A Punisher-class Frigate approaching a Triglavian Biocombinative Cache and Transfer Conduit.

V: How to escape Abyssal Deadspace, and why this is profitable

To leave the Abyss, you have to destroy three rooms&#; worth of enemies, travelling from room to room by using &#;Transfer Conduits&#;. You can tell a Conduit is active by the loud activation sound they make.

Once you destroy the last enemy in the third and final room, the &#;Origin Conduit&#; will open. You can leave the Abyss back into regular space through this, with all your new, shiny loot.

The Abyss is a much more profitable venture than most other Alpha-accessible activities, barring Incursions and higher-level missions (which typically require Omega to do well). On average, a new player can make up to 10 million ISK an hour with this fit and guide.

This way, a newbro will be able to have more money to spend fitting up other ships, and will have the resources they need to become more invested in EVE.

Hopes this helps anyone interested! 😀

How does it work in T2 Dark where you meet Cynnabal and tacklers and neuters?

Jag Santovenia • 6 months ago

Did they change the Pithi A-Type Small Shield Booster? I only get 82 per 2 seconds.

Phoenix Reign • 7 months ago

I take it back use the fit as listed above exactly, including the pyrolancea drug

Phoenix Reign • 7 months ago

oh and you also dont need the 2% cpu implant if you switch to the dread guristas shield booster

Phoenix Reign • 7 months ago

I'm pretty much mastery 4 on this ship and you can do T2 Exotics no problem (i've just run 6)

I have those implants fit and also:

Zainou 'Gnome' Shield Management SM
Zainou 'Gnome' Shield Operation SP

However, I have swapped out the Pithi A-Type small shield booster (currently mill isk) for the Dread Guristas Small Shield Booster (9mill isk)

This makes the fit 90 million cheaper even with the extra 40 mill on implants.

I'm also not using the Agency 'Pyrolancea' drug as it cuts into profits.

Each full abyssal run takes between 10 and 15 mins with this at my current skills, depending on spawns.

STARKEY 07 • one year ago

Gave this fit a try today, no issues even without the extra implants

Allan MacGregor • one year ago

Is this fit still viable a year after?

Olamm • 2 years ago

Totally impressive on the neut resists, bud. My buddy and I lost 3 worms yesterday EACHsigh, I knowanyway, neut resists were the problem. This is an expensive fit, but watching that booster do its work, I get ityou shoulda been dead in that video. Well done! ~Olamm

Fits frigate eve abyssal

November

We talked about the Abyss on a few occasions already and it’s still my favourite PvE activity in EVE. With Onslaught hitting the live server – it’s time to take a look at the new fleet Abyssal content.

Into the Abyss (again)

Nothing much changed when it comes to finding your way into Abyssal space. The same types of filaments are used whether you’re jumping in solo in your cruiser or in a fleet of up to 3 frigates. The only difference is you need 3 of them to create the fleet entrance to the Abyssal pocket.

To make the whole process as clear as possible – you will get a prompt after you use your filament to enter solo or as a fleet. Unlike running Abyssal sites solo – fleet pockets are entered through a wormhole-like portal that will not port you in immediately, but rather once you jump in manually. The minute timer will start ticking after the first fleet member jumps through.

Fits

Damavik - Abyss

Now, this blog post won’t go into much detail about fleet fits mostly because, to get you started, you can pretty much grab any Tier 1 frigate, spank an active tank and some DPS on it and dive right in. I tried a few runs in a T1 frigate fleet using T1 weapons on a 5mil SP Alpha clone and it went smooth as butter.

What I am going to talk about is the awesome Worm fit that enables you to easily solo Calm Abyss sites in a matter of minutes!

“But – why would I want to do this?” – you may ask. Well, first of all – because it’s fun! The Abyssal pockets are easily the best-looking parts of EVE and if it wasn’t for the 20 minute timer, I’d probably never leave the place.

It’s also challenging if you don’t have highly trained skills and, unless you’re one of those players that rat in null-sec for major ticks, Abyssal pockets can net you a very nice sum of ISK especially if you get lucky with the new skill-books that sell for a noticeable amount of cash.

To do this on our own – we’re going to bring an awesome little frigate – the Worm. It’s a pirate faction ship with a 10% bonus to both kinetic and thermal missile damage per each Gallente Frigate skill level and an extra 4% bonus to all shield resistances per Caldari Frigate skill level. This literally makes it a frigate-sized Gila! Both fits listed below are almost exactly the same with a small variation in mid-slots.

[Worm, Calm Abyss solo Worm v1] Ballistic Control System II Drone Damage Amplifier II Small Shield Extender II Small Shield Booster II 1MN Y-S8 Compact Afterburner Supplemental EM Ward Amplifier Light Missile Launcher II Light Missile Launcher II Light Missile Launcher II Small Semiconductor Memory Cell II Small Semiconductor Memory Cell I Small Semiconductor Memory Cell I Hobgoblin II x5 Inferno Fury Light Missile x

This first fit currently sits around mil ISK, and the high price here is mostly because of the Supplemental EM Ward Amplifier that gives you some extra resistance since the ship’s base EM resistance is a bit low, so you need to be a bit more careful when running EM penalizing sites.

The alternative fit is noticeably cheaper, uses a bit weaker shield repairer and Afterburner which allows us to fit an extra Shield Booster.

[Worm, Calm Abyss solo v2] Drone Damage Amplifier II Ballistic Control System II Small Shield Extender II Small C5-L Emergency Shield Overload I 1MN Y-S8 Compact Afterburner Small F-S9 Regolith Compact Shield Extender Light Missile Launcher II Light Missile Launcher II Light Missile Launcher II Small Semiconductor Memory Cell II Small Semiconductor Memory Cell I Small Semiconductor Memory Cell I Hobgoblin II x5 Scourge Fury Light Missile x

The current cost of this fit is around 93mil ISK.

Now, if you think these are expensive – let me assure you, you’ll be bringing that ISK back in no time. I’ve ran multiple sites with the cheaper fit and the last 4 I did got me mil ISK profits (I did get lucky with a new skill-book but even without that it would still put me at mil + mil for the skill-book)

Edit: Another fit to consider for capsuleers with a higher amount of skillpoints posted by gatorgrips

[Worm, abyssal buffer] Navy Micro Auxiliary Power Core Drone Damage Amplifier II Coreli A-Type 5MN Microwarpdrive Republic Fleet Medium Shield Extender Republic Fleet Medium Shield Extender Basic EM Ward Amplifier Light Missile Launcher II Light Missile Launcher II Light Missile Launcher II Small Ancillary Current Router II Small Core Defense Field Purger II Small Core Defense Field Purger II Hobgoblin II x2 Inferno Fury Light Missile x

Worming it up

Vedmak - Abyss

If you’ve done Abyssal pockets before – I’m sure you’re aware of the ship types that can spawn and what to watch out for. If you’ve never done any here’s a quick overview:

Each Abyssal pocket randomly spawns a set of ships. These can be Drifter/Sleeper ships and/or drones as well as Triglavian fleets. They range from drones and Frigates up to Battleships. Since you’ll be flying a fast frigate – you will rarely have to worry about anything bigger than a destroyer class ship mostly because they will not be able to track you, and even if you encounter a sniping cruiser – you can easily run away from its range by overloading your Afterburner for a few cycles.

Both fits should run stable with all weapons firing, your Afterburner and the shield repper on which makes flying and target management the only thing you need to worry about when diving into the Abyssal pocket.

Upon entering, turn on your Afterburner and toss out your drones immediately. Calm filaments will rarely spawn many enemies so orientation should be easy enough. Tackle the enemy frigates first since those can easily catch up to you and deal some damage – then move onto larger targets prioritizing ones that have special abilities and the ones you need to keep either at range or boost away from ASAP (see enemy ship types below).

Ignore the drones if there’s a drone ship tossing them out. Just take out the ship and the drones will just shut down immediately upon the mothership destruction. Take special care of your drones if you run into any drone suppression pylons since they can do massive damage in a generally short time. If that’s the case – just pull them back into your hold and swap them for another pair so the damaged drones can regen their shields.

Once the pocket is cleared – scan around for extra loot caches. There will always be a standard Triglavian cache near the exit gate, and several extra loot boxes scattered around the pocket in the distance. Once you get the hang of it – you can orientate yourself immediately upon entering the pocket and plot the best route around the pocket to pick them all up. Note that sometimes they might not contain loot at all.

Enemy ship types

The list below should help you out on managing enemy ship priority:

  • Webs & Scrams - Snarecaster, Tangling, Anchoring, Entanglement, Nullwarp, Spearfisher
  • Tracking, disruption, sensor dampening, target painters - Fogcaster, Ghosting, Gazedimmer, Blinding, Spotlighter, Harrowing
  • Logi – Fieldweaver, Plateweaver, Preserver, Renewing
  • Neuts – Dissipator, Firewatcher, Nullcharge, Starving

Make sure to immediately take down neuting ships because the last thing you want is to run out of cap in a deadspace pocket. Focus logistics next since those will rep up other ships prolonging your stay in the Abyss and just deal with the rest of them after.

Once you get comfortable with flying the ship and target priorities – you should be able to clear all 3 pockets in minutes if you don’t run around looting extra caches and don’t encounter a fat Dominix like in the video below. But even if you do – this fit can easily finish all 3 pockets in min.

Happy hunting and fly safe o7
