Swanson Organic 100% Certified Organic Pea Protein Powder, Non-GMO, 503g

  • The best organic pea protein powder formula perfect for smoothies & shakes
  • 16 grams of protein per serving
  • Easy-to-digest dairy alternative
  • Non-GMO

Great for vegans or anyone for whom soy or dairy-based proteins aren’t an option, pea protein is close to perfect when it comes to human nutrition. It features a terrific, naturally balanced amino acid profile that includes high concentrations of branched-chain amino acids and glutamine, which makes it ideal for fueling lean muscle development. That’s why more and more strength-training athletes and body builders are turning to pea protein as a quality vegetarian alternative to whey protein products. Plus, it’s easy to digest, so it doesn’t cause the discomforting gassiness and bloating so often experienced with other protein supplements.

Our 100% Certified Organic Pea Protein Powder Non-GMO is a pure, natural protein source, delivering 16 grams of protein with only 80 calories and 1 gram of fat per serving. Its mild flavor makes it a welcome addition to any smoothie, juice or sports beverage, or you can add it to foods for a natural protein boost. It’s an affordable, natural way to incorporate more protein into your health and fitness regimen.

Glad I found it!

I had originally purchased this item from another vitamin supplier, who sends out a brochure once a month. However, since they discontinued this item in this formula format, I was happy to find it here! Exactly what I was looking for: certified, non-GMO... It does not change or add to any flavor of anything I use it in, and it's light! And it also comes with its own scoop... bonus!... Read more...

Move on...Don't buy!

I rarely leave comments, but I must warn others. Do not waste your money. It's great to have only 1 ingredient, but it's such an awful flavor you can't drink more than 1 sip. We don't eat a lot of sugar in our house so that's not the issue. It was even mixed with frozen strawberries. Move onto another item. This should be removed from the shelves.... Read more...

If there was a "zero" star, I would give this product that. I have not even opened the jar...no. I have not tasted it or seen it. BUTI bought the product based on reviews online and assumed the posted "Product of USA" information was correct as state. Afterspending time talking with 2 different Swanson employees, a lot of runaround, and unanswered questions, it seems that the product ISa "Product of China" as is stated on the label. I was told by Wiley they would have to charge quite a bit more for the product if an analysiswas done of the finished product. So, if you really care the process used for this product to be made into pea protein "isolates", I hope you will push Swanson to say something besides "We can not disclose that." The product should be more truthfully labeled as "isolates" and the amino acid profile should be stated. Buyer beware...it is not just about having been "USDA ORGANIC" at some point. It is going back today!... Read more...

I am very glad I did

After reading a few reviews I was a little concerned about the flavor and texture but decided to give it a try as I have been looking for an organic pea protein with no additives. I am very glad I did, I have made 2 types of smoothies so far, one using greens and juice the second almond milk, almond butter and banana. Both were delicious, no grittiness, no after taste even with a full scoop. This is now my go to protein for smoothies :)... Read more...

Absolutely 100% pure and natural!

I was using another brand of pea protein(not organic) and was running out. I wanted organic only with NO other added ingredients, no isolates etc. I was impressed with the steps this company takes to insure its organic and regularly works with Consumer Labs in testing of their products. The powder is very mild tasting and blends well in my smoothies and oatmeal.I'm very confused about some of the negative reviews about this powder. People complain about grittiness, horrible taste etc. It's a protein powder, it's not a sugar sweetened chemical laden powder! !!!!! Our society is so use to everything artificially sweetened or added sugar/syrup that they expect it to be just that. I absolutely love it, and love that I can enjoy it in many different types of food. Those looking for the overly sweet, added preservatives and isolates, should look elsewhere.... Read more...

1 scoop tastes chalky and leave and after taste in the back of your throat. 1/2 Scoop works for me.

Everyone should try it for themselves as everyone's tastes are different. I can drink most stuff but this is to hard to get down using a whole scoop. I only use half a scoop now as one whole scoop is to much. I have to explain that I have a lot of sensitivities so I can not use bananas which I am sure would help as would a lot of other fruit I can't have.I put it in coconut milk with strawberries and a little agave with 1/2 scoop and it is not bad. If you use one scoop the taste is chalky and the flavor seems to get stuck in the back of your throat.Strawberries and blueberries are all I am allowed since I am sensitive to most foods and protein powders.... so good. It does not clump or settle

I was looking for a pea protein powder that was certified organic and grown in North America. I was surprised at how hard this was to find! But I believe that Swanson does source it's peas from Canada. I could not find a definitive answer, so I decided to trust the USDA seal of approval stamped on their label. This is a very mild-tasting powder. I have a sensitive digestive tract and this is the one protein powder I have tried that does not upset it (i.e. cause flatulence). I use this powder to make smoothies and so far, so good. It does not clump or settle. Thumbs-up from me!It does not get 5 stars because I could not get a definitive answer that it is grown and processed in North America.... Read more...

Over from the pot, with Andrei's cheeks parted, and saw her pink hole, into which the tip of Alka's syringe aimed. Here the syringe went inside, Nika squeaked faintly, and all the oil was inside her.
