Thunder Cheerleading

The Thunder cheerleading squad are among the most active and visible groups on campus, including cheering or dancing on the sidelines at football and basketball games, making public appearances at community and regional events.

The Thunder cheerleading squad consists of a group of young men and women who enjoy promoting school spirit, creating enthusiasm and entertaining fans at Thunder athletic events. The audience is treated to big basket tosses, partner stunts, and distinctive routines. They provide sideline entertainment and half-time performances.

Incoming freshman are eligible to earn the Trine University Cheerleading Scholarship! Freshmen who make the squad are eligible to earn a $1000 scholarship for each year that they remain on the cheerleading squad.

Trine University Cheerleading is broken down into two squads, Game Day and Competition. All Game Day cheerleaders are responsible for cheering at home football and basketball. Competition cheerleaders are responsible for all home football games and use the basketball season to focus on competition. Requirements differ for each squad and vary season to season depending on what the program is looking for.

Game Day- Tumbling not required though a back-hand-spring is preferred

Competition- Standing Tuck and Roundoff Back Tuck required

Want to Cheer for Trine? Trine University Cheerleading holds try-outs in the spring for the upcoming year. Try-outs are a one-day process where tumbling, stunting and dance abilities are evaluated. Anyone interested in trying out should contact head coach Shea Sims.

Coach

Head coach Shea Sims came to the mat in 2012.

Sims is entering her eighth season with Trine University Cheer. After the programs first ever UCA College Nationals appearance last season and placing in the top five Sims is eager to get the season started.

In her eight seasons at Trine Sims has shown great success in recruiting and building the program into two distinct programs, Game Day and Competition. With more than 40 athletes in the program, Sims credits the program’s success to creating a family atmosphere and building a DI program at a DIII school.

Sims was a member of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers for three seasons while earning at Masters in Public Relations at Ball State University. Prior to dancing for professional basketball, Coach Sims was a Division I cheerleader and captain for Bowling Green State University where she earned a degree in Journalism Broadcasting. Suddenly he took my face with his hand and kissed my face, tenderly and strongly. He pulled back and again. He parted my lips with my tongue and penetrated, I almost died of a heart attack. I feel that his penis has risen in my stomach and rests against me.

Maybe recent events have influenced this, I can't even spend an hour without him. I recognized him as my mate. Walking across the room, I noticed that he was clearly very reluctant to change the interior. When I first got here, she was in black and red, but it pressed me so hard that he added light to.
