We are a private, donation funded, non-profit 501(c)(3), no kill rescue. Our mission is to help end pet over population, abandonment and neglect. We provide care and find homes for dogs of any breed, age or medical need. We have found homes for over 4000 dogs on the last 17 years. We hope to have this number keep growing as we strive to save these sweet souls.

We at North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue are working hard to be able to save more dogs and educate our community about spay/neuter to reduce the number of animals entering the shelter system.

Johnny Siberian Husky Charlotte, NC

Meet Johnny

Quick Facts:
Age: 1-2 years old
Weight: 50 pounds
Crate/House Trained
Introvert who likes to stay home (despite the fact he is a good car rider)

-6ft fence: Huskies are known escape artists and Johnny can be a little nervous. This is strictly for their safety and your peace of mind.
-No apartments/joint housing complexes: Huskies talk.. A LOT. Being the vocal breed he is, we're here to ensure Johnny can sing and talk to his heart's content. Your wall neighbors may not agree.

Johnny is your typical Husky - he is energetic, a massive goofball & FLUFFY. He likes to zoom and run fast as lightning in the fenced in yard! He is very silly once he gets to know you. He will gladly remind you that you're taking too long to open a door by pawing at it... it's kind of cute and sassy. Johnny & his four-legged foster sister's bond is unmatched - Sakari, also a Husky, is available for adoption as well and we would love for these two to get their "happily ever after" together. Johnny takes on a dominant role in the pack and would be best suited with female dogs, or would need to be an only dog. Due to his awkward and introverted nature, Johnny isn't really your go-to guy for a dog bar or dog park buddy. Like all dogs, Johnny would benefit from training to help him with his basic manners and socialization skills.

Before emailing- please read:
- Yes, this dog is available for adoption
- The adoption fee for Johnny is $358
- Apply at
- The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care.
- Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area.
- If you have any additional questions, email us at [email protected] and we will respond as soon as possible!

Our Mission

South Charlotte Dog Rescue (SCDR) is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization serving the South Charlotte, NC area. SCDR has observed a great need in our community to rescue, foster, provide medical care and love for the unwanted, homeless, neglected and abused animals we so often see. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason – dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation and an over-abundance of backyard breeders, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, those in danger of abuse or neglect and also the temporary placement of military family dogs during times of deployment.

Adoption Policy

We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed, permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives.

Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. To the extent our finances allow, dogs in the greatest need take priority.

Our adoption application is located on our website at  We are always available to answer questions via email [email protected] or phone (877) 745-SCDR.

You will lie there for now, and you will go down to sleep later. - No, my stomach hurts, it's hard for me to climb-climb there. - Do not attack him, the old man stood up for me, the young man is sick, you need to help somehow.

I squeezed his chest harder, then dropped the squeezing hand a little lower on his stomach. so I managed to bend him a little and it became more convenient for me to fuck him. Wow.
