The busby family

The busby family DEFAULT

The TLC show OutDaughtered follows Adam and Danielle Busby and their seven little girls. Viewers of the show enjoy watching the busy family interact, as well as catching glimpses of the extended family. Some of those family members include Danielle Busby‘s twin sisters and their mom. But a few of her posts on social media have left fans wondering if she has more than the two sisters we’ve already met. on the show.

Meet the Busby family

Danielle Busby, Adam Busby, and their six daughters on 'OutDaughtered'

Adam and Danielle didn’t always live such an attention-getting life. According to The List, the couple met when they worked together at Target. After dating for three years, they got married. They wanted to start having kids right away, but after a year of trying, they realized they’d need help to conceive. Ultimately, they sought the help of fertility specialists so they could find out what the best options were for them.

After six cycles of intrauterine insemination (IUI), Danielle was able to carry and give birth to their oldest daughter, Blayke. Years later, when the couple was ready to add to their family, they tried the same procedure. But this time, they ended up with more than they expected.

During fertility treatment, Busby conceived quintuplets. Against the advice of her doctors, she decided not to selectively reduce the pregnancy. Instead, she carried all five of the babies as long as she could. After 28 weeks and two days, Olivia, Ava, Riley, Parker, and Hazel were born. And after spending a few months in the hospital, they were all able to come home.

These days, the Busby family and their six daughters can be seen on the TLC reality TV show OutDaughtered. The series shows the chaos, fun, stress, and love that the Busbys experience in life with so many kids.

Who are Danielle Busby’s sisters?

Two of the faces you might see occasionally on Outdaughtered are Ashley and Crystal. According to In Touch Weekly, the women are Busby’s sisters. They’re also twins, which means that the quints aren’t the only multiples in the family. The siblings’ close bond began in their childhood. They grew up in Louisiana, and they were raised by a single mom, Michelle, who goes by Mimi and also appears on the show occasionally.

The three sisters are very close; they not only appear together on the show, but they also pop up frequently on each others’ social media accounts. Danielle, Ashley, and Crystal also started a fitness apparel business together, and even the name hints at how much they mean to each other. The name of the business is CADi, which comes from the initial letters of the sisters’ names.

Considering how tight-knit the sisters are, it surprised fans when Busby referred to two other women as her “sisters” via Instagram. So did she grow up with more family members than people realized?

An October 2021 Instagram postconfused Danielle’s followers when she mentioned two other women on social media as her sisters. One of the women hasn’t been named, but the other one is Clarissa Evers. Where did these extra sisters come from?

It seems that the two mystery women aren’t Busby’s biological sisters; they appear to be related to her husband, and are probably his sisters — making them her in-laws. That side of the family has chosen to protect their privacy as much as possible, so it makes sense that people wouldn’t be sure exactly where the women fit into the family.

Busby would have a much more difficult time handling her busy life if she didn’t have the love and support of her family. That affection clearly extends to her sisters-in-law as well.

OutDaughtered is an American reality series on TLC starring Adam and Danielle Busby, parents of the only American all-girl quintuplets on record. The series debuted on May 10, 2016[1] and premiered its eighth season on February 23, 2021.[2]

Synopsis[edit]

The Busby family consists of Adam (born June 10, 1982) and Danielle Busby (born December 23, 1983), who have been married since 2006; eldest daughter Blayke Louise (born April 5, 2011); and quintuplets Ava Lane, Olivia Marie, Hazel Grace, Riley Paige, and Parker Kate (all born April 8, 2015).

Adam and Danielle had struggled with infertility, ultimately becoming pregnant both times by intrauterine insemination.[3]

Danielle delivered the quintuplets via Caesarean section 28 weeks into the pregnancy.[4] Shortly after birth, heart murmurs were detected in all five girls; this was treated with medication.[5] The quints spent the first eight to twelve weeks of their lives in the neonatal intensive care unit at the Woman's Hospital of Texas,[6] before being released to go home between June and July 2015.[4]

Hazel's eye condition, congenital nystagmus, has been chronicled through the series.[7] The condition causes Hazel to have uncontrolled eye movements and hold her head at unusual angles to compensate for her lack of clear vision.[8] In 2016, Hazel underwent eye surgery in an attempt to improve her condition.[9][10] In 2017, Hazel was diagnosed as having an astigmatism in her left eye, which may ultimately be responsible for it occasionally turn in as a result of being underdeveloped. She was prescribed glasses to help with her left eye farsightedness with the hope that her vision will improve as her eye develops.[11]

Adam has opened up, both privately and publicly, about his struggle with postpartum depression.[12]

Out of a catalog!OutDaughtered starsDanielle andAdam Busbyrenovated their Houston, Texas, home to perfection.

After getting everything in working order, the mother to 6-year-old quintuplesAva, Olivia,Hazel,Riley andParker and 10-year-old daughter,Blayke, took fans on a tour of their upgraded abode — including their massive kitchen and pantry, which has been remodeled to fit their family’s needs.

Fans got to see Danielle’s crisp-white cabinetry and blue accents on theirYouTube channel. The kids will undoubtedly enjoy grabbing snacks from their expanded shelves and hanging up their bookbags in the new mudroom, all while their mom and dad get to enjoy the impressive stainless-steel appliances.

Although Danielle and Adam have a new love for their space after the upgrades, they dealt with some hiccups while their house was under construction. In August 2020, Adam revealed hesuffered a slight injury when their kitchen was in disarray.

“When you aren’t quite used to the new light fixtures that were installed while you were out of the house. Totally walked right into the biggest on that hangs over our table (because the table wasn’t put back under it) The corner hit me square in the forehead,” he wrote on Instagram with a photo of him bleeding. “After the pain subsided, I could laugh about it.”

The proud father appeared to be a good sport after his clumsy accident, but he wasn’t going to stand for any shade when a troll questioned his design judgment. “Nothing negative, asking a legitimate question. Why would you have a light fixture soo low like that?” the user commented on his post. “It goes over the table. They didn’t move the table back after installing it,” he quipped back.

The OutDaughtered family has been keeping their fans updated on their home improvement projects since they revealed their plans totemporarily move out of their house in December 2018 to make a few repairs. During a June 2019 episode of their hit show, they shared how the “whole upstairs [seemed] to becovered with mold” after Ava got sick.

“We arestill living this ‘mold house’ life and hoping our home can be complete soon,” the Busbys exclusively told In Touch in September 2019.

Thankfully, it looks like they have made a lot of progress since then. The Busbys are now enjoying their stunning home with their six kids and dogs, Beaux and Gus.
