Back the Blue's billboards are racist

Back the Blue has advertised on two billboards. One is on Highway 63 south of Franklin and the other is on Franklin across from Hardees. Both signs are very racist. One suggests that Waterloo could be the next Chicago, which implies shootings in Black neighborhoods, and the the other is saying "Remember the Griffin – Part with Hart." Again this is very racist for the Black community who opposed the griffin on police cars and officers' uniforms. Not sure who is financing these billboards, but they are intended to support the candidacy of Margaret Klein. See Facebook. Waterloo once was noted as being the most racist city in the United States and does not need to promote more racism than it already has through a mayoral election.

National Farm Toy Museum

Hidden amongst the patch worked fields of green and gold, the National Farm Toy Museum, has been home to thousands of farm toys and collectibles since 1986. The idea of a farm toy museum came from the growing awareness of the farm toy hobby through passionate and enthusiastic collectors, and the demand for additional space to house the National Farm Toy Show. Taking note of these two elements Dave Bell, then of the ERTL Company, and Claire Scheibe, founder and past president of the Toy Farmer Ltd. met with the Dyersville Industries, Inc. (DII) Board of Directors to propose the National Farm Toy Museum.

As was expected, the DII Board did not immediately accept the idea of building a museum. One major concern the Directors focused on was the expense to construct the facility. To help defray the costs a fund raising campaign was put together that included introducing and selling a series of collector tractors. The first series was a line of vintage Cockshutt tractors. The series consisted of a three-tractor set that was produced from 1986 thru 1990. Those who purchased the first set are still acknowledged in the museum today. The result of the fund raising campaign and the sales of the Cockshutt series tractor sales was the National Farm Toy Museum. Every year the National Farm Toy Museum selects an exclusive collector's series tractor to produce for the benefit of the Museum.

With a gesture of his hand, he beckoned to him, and Lera categorically shook her head, NO. "It turned out that he called his blondes sitting on either side of her.
