Step 1

Ensure that the SoundCore Spirit headphones is turned on and the battery fully charged. Do not separate the mobile device for more than 3 feet while pairing.

Step 2

Press the Play button and hold it for approx 3 seconds. The LED will rapidly flash blue. The headphones are now ready for pairing and can be connected with other Bluetooth enabled devices.

Step 3

Turn on the Bluetooth mode on your mobile device. It will automatically search for other Bluetooth enabled devices nearby. Choose the “SoundCore Spirit” device from the list. Once the pairing has been successful, the headphone’s LED will stay solid blue. – In case your mobile device requests a password, please try the combination “0000” or “8888“.

Step 4 (optional)

If you want to connect the SoundCore Spirit headphones headphones with a second mobile device, simply turn off the Bluetooth function on the first device (for instance “disconnect”) and hold the Play button for another 3 seconds. Then follow again the above steps 1 to 3 for the second mobile device. Turn on the first mobile device. Both mobile devices are now connected to the headphones but only one of them can play music or make phone calls.

The following functions can be controlled via the three different buttons.

Step 1

Ensure that the Anker SoundBuds headphone is turned on and the battery fully charged. Do not separate the two devices for more than 3 feet while pairing.

Step 2

The headphone is automatically set to the pairing mode and the blue LED flashes rapidly. The headphone is now ready for pairing and can be connected with other Bluetooth enabled devices.

Step 3

Turn on the Bluetooth mode on your mobile device. It will automatically search for other Bluetooth enabled devices nearby. Choose the “Anker SoundBuds Sport” device from the list. Has the pairing been successful, the headphone’s LED will stay solid blue. – In case your mobile device requests a password, please try the combination “0000” or “8888“.

Step 4

The headphone will always try to connect to the last used device (mobile phone, tablet, computer) once powered up. In case a connection cannot be established, the headphone switches back to the pairing mode.

 

If you want to connect the Anker SoundBuds headphone with another device, simply turn off the Bluetooth function on the first device (for instance “disconnect”) OR press both volume keys (<) and (>) for 3 seconds on the headphone. The Anker SoundBuds Sport will switch back to the pairing mode in order to connect to another device. Follow again the above steps 1 to 3.

Yes. You can use each earbud separately while the other side charges.

To use the left earbud independently, please follow the steps below:
Take the left earbud from the charging case or press once to turn on the left earbud—the white indicator light will be flashing.
Then, quickly tap three times to enter pairing mode. The white indicator will flash slowly.
Search “Soundcore Liberty Neo L” and pair it with your phone.
Please keep the other side in the charging case or turning off while using one earbud separately.

To use the left earbud independently, please follow the steps below:
Three taps does not work. What did work was a long press to turn them off, then another long press to turn them on holding it for a few more seconds after they powered on. Thanks to whomever posted that method before because these are really quite good but we’re going back until I found that solution. THIS WORKED FOR ME.

As another person said, and I just did it because I had the same issue:

Power down or charge the right earbud. Make sure the left is powered down. Then, power up the left by pressing and holding the button -- but dont let go. Keep holding it down for a few more seconds, and you'll hear another tune, which is the "ready to pair". You'll see "Soundcore Liberty Neo L" on your bluetooth scan on your phone/device.

The right earbud is the master, so you can just pull it out of the case and use it by itself. The left earbud goes into "looking for right earbud" mode by default, so to use the left by itself, take it out of the case and hold the button down until you see the red light and the earbud goes off. Please read this: Only model A396 (the newest model) can pair the left earbud independently. This excludes model A3911011, which I unfortunately received today. I learned this by calling Soundcore customer support. Sadly, there is no way to know which model will be sent to you.

No. Without "repairing" it by taking it out of the case, long pressing to turn it off, then pressing and holding to turn it back on to enter pairing mode. This really is quite annoying. I have had other earbuds that work independently and automatically pair either left, right, or both. I feel like this is a basic feature that Anker needs to fix. After you pair both you should be able to use one or the other without the re-pairing steps. Dumb.

I cannot get my soundcore to make up with my tablet ie is a ( LifeU2/wireless headphones ) I have had it o charge for about two hours only the red light was on it will not make up to my Applt Tablet why ?

Mi cannot get my soundcore to makeup with my tablet it has been on charge for about 1 hr. Still nothing the red light came on for about 2min. Than went off stil will not makeup.

I can't get my left earbud to play music or speak. it is charged and speaks battery high.

No you cannot. I actually purchased this product on the other answer of the this question by “Anker direct” and this advice does not work. There is no Soundcore Liberty Neo L option that pops up and only the right earbud can work independently.
